First off , I would like to thank Patricia for handling my catering order. The food was fantastic, we had the roasted chicken, chicken chunks, yellow and white rice with red beans and salad. The food all was seasoned so well our guest couldn't get enough. Thank you, thank you for making my granddaughter's birthday party a great success.

I came here a few days ago just wanting some good food and some time to myself the restaurant was not crowded. Service was prompt and I was hungry. I ordered white rice with vegetables and beans on the side with fried pork chops. The presentation was nice. The food came out within 10 minutes and everything was nice and hot. I am always pleased. When I come here. I can get a really good meal that is very tasty and full of flavor at a very reasonable price.
The food was good as always. I had the Pernil (was a little dry today) with yellow rice, beans and plantains. Comes with a little cup of garlic sauce that gives it the additional flavor. Currently there the lunch special $8.70 before tax. They also have a full sized version for $11.99 before tax but the lunch special is always enough food for me. I'm 6'7" The Bronx location on gun hill rd, which is the original location. That one is better typically and a bit cheaper. They offered the $8.70 meal before tax for $6.?? before tax and then the full sized meal for $8.70 before tax. Haven't been there in awhile, but that's how I believe it was structured a year or two ago when I last went. Service is usually quick here, especially post Covid-19. They also have inside dining available. Decent amount of seats inside. There is parking using meters.
